The Izetbeegovic Declaration of Alija Izetbegovic. When I just started to read it I realized that someone wrote about things which I was thinking about but could not put them in sentences, or could explain them with right words. Also, I have found answers of some questions which I was asking myself about.
He was a really brave man to talk about all these realities in such time and in such country Yugoslavia. Now before I start to write some reflections related to the book, I would like to give some information about it. First of all, Islamic Declaration had been written inand published in At the very beginning of its publishing, the book did not take so much attention from the world. Izetbegovic had aimed to call people back to the real Islam by explaining them the roots, goals, and the philosophy of Islam. Also, he had stated that Islam is universal and can be applied in every time, in every century, and Islam does not limit people from developing in case of education, technology, politics, and so on.

It is an element of the Muslim society which helps one not to feel alone and stranger in big communities, and in countries which are not Muslim populated. Actually, he says that it is possible to make an Islamic order in a society if the state is populated mostly by Muslims. According to that there is not going to be poor, or hungry people, there is not going to be orphan or old people without the care of the community.
Three of them, which the author gave place in the book, are; election of head of the state, responsibilities of head of the state toward people, and the obligation of both to work on public izetbegvoic and social matters. Conversely, non-Islamic order feels the enmity and resistance of people all the time and sees the solution of this problem in forcing people. By time, that way of ruling becomes a dictatorship.
And nobody has right to stain name of Islam because of using force. This sentence, simply explains that we have to work for ourselves, for our states and should not expect from others to make us stand. What do I mean by second class?

In that point, Alija Izetbegovic says that an uneducated, neglected, and unhappy mother cannot raise children capable of instigating and leading the rebirth of the Muslims.
Without we change our hearts, believe in what we want to achieve in the society, without having right intentions, we cannot go one step further in the process of changing.
